Mousewife

You and your family are mousefolk: tiny humanoid creatures with big ears and sensitive noses. You live in the cracks in human homes, making do with stolen things the humans will not miss, and eke out a simple existence.

You are the family’s mousewife. While your mousespouse and mousechild go and steal from the humans who live above you, you stay at home, where you mend the clothes, cook the food, and protect the house. If a human ever finds you, you and your entire family will have to leave, never to return to the home you have spent so long making respectable. 

You will keep a journal of what you do in the house while your family is away. 

A one-page solitary journaling game about staying at home while your family goes off on adventures, but the danger lingers at home. Inspired by the underappreciated mother-figures of The Borrowers and The Secret World of Arrietty.
